We start with queries from Conservative MP Caroline Dinenage, who leads the panel.

She commences by providing details to the leaked document written by Michael Prescott and printed in a national newspaper.

"It is not my wish for the BBC slanting in any particular direction, My only wish is for it balanced, unbiased and just," he says.

Upon being questioned if he considers the BBC is institutionally biased, the adviser answers: "No, I do not. Let's be clear, numerous aspects the British Broadcasting Corporation does is top-tier - encompassing factual and fictional shows."

Nevertheless, he states: "There is significant effort that needs to be done at the BBC."

A further former external British Broadcasting Corporation specialist questioned by the group, Caroline Daniel, says she takes the British Broadcasting Corporation extremely earnestly and that it maintains a "persistent practice and active debate" on evolving and intricate subjects.

"Did the BBC willing to engage in a proper discussion and argument and implement changes?" she reflects. "From my perspective, indeed, they were."
