Match Recap
Inter traveled in Tuscany aiming to return to winning ways after enduring a derby defeat by Milan last weekend, followed by a European loss at Atlético Madrid. However, they were forced to fight all the way by newly-promoted Pisa. The home team generated plenty of chances, but a clinical Inter broke the deadlock in the 69th minute mark when Argentinian Martínez drilled a one-time shot into the roof of the net. The forward then finished from point-blank seven minutes from time.
Inter’s capacity to score even with pressure proved crucial in securing the victory.
