Vince Zampella, Dies in a California Traffic Collision
Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.
The tragic news was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.
The celebrated game designer lost his life when his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a motorway in LA on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This represents a devastating loss, and we stand with Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and all those touched by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts stated.
